Last week, Black Enterprise hosted a luncheon at the Rainbow Room to acknowledge their picks for the 40 Best Companies for Diversity. Corporate leaders such as FedEx, PepsiCo., and Eastman Kodak were honored for their commitment to diversity.
In addition to the luncheon, BE held a symposium to discuss "Sex, Race & Stereotypes: Defining the Business Case for Diversity in Media." The panel led to a provocative discourse regarding black representation in mainstream media, and the best way to target black consumers.
