B a good neighbor...

The 11th Harlem Brunch took place this weekend at Baton Rouge Restaurant on 145th between Convent Ave. & Amsterdam Ave. For 2 years, Uptown B-Lifers have gathered to support minority-owned neighborhood restaurants, while creating a cohesive community of Harlem residents who share similar professional and personal interests. It was the perfect setting to make new contacts, put faces to names, and reconnect with old friends. The N'awlins fare and lavishly decorated 3-story brownstone were just the icing on the cake. Thanks to Dahni-El, Rashida and Shamika for making Harlem feel like home. For more info about Baton Rouge, go to: www.batonrougeny.com. Take a peek at some pics from the brunch...

Thank you for this info!!! I love the food from New Orleans and to know there is a restaurant ( inspired by the food from New Orleans) right here in our very own backyard is perfect. I will check out this restaurant this weekend. Thank you.

Naki, I wish I would have known - we could have said hello! I'm sure this won't be the last time we're in the same place at the same time.
