B in the band (eventually)...

Diddy, Diddy, Diddy...how could you play with these boy's emotions like that? Just when they (and the rest of the world) thought you were gonna "make the band", you flipped, switched and turned it on them by letting America vote and say their piece. Since Diddy likes to make people sweat, we figured we'd weigh in...

THE CONTENDERS

Willie

(A.K.A. The Sex)
He's basically the only shoo-in at this point. Willie has the whole package - singing, dancing, and he's easy on the eyes. He's got my vote!

Donnie

(A.K.A. The (Slim) White Boy)
"Ah, for real?" This boy can dance his little behind off, AND, he's crazy enough to talk back to Diddy. You gotta love that, plus, he brings in the New Kids on the Block appeal.

Robert

(A.K.A. The Cocky One)
Somebody should tell the twins from Jagged Edge that they lost their little brother...But really, Robert already thinks he's in the band, and for good reason - his voice hits and has a unique tone.

Jeremy

(A.K.A. The Sleeper)
To be honest, we didn't even know he was in the competition until the final episode. But there must be some reason that Diddy and crew let him hang around...

Dyshon

(A.K.A. The Serious One)
Big D has been pretty consistent throughout, and he's clearly there for business purposes only. He brings the bass and rounds out the harmony, so he definitely has a fighting chance.

Brian A.

(A.K.A. The Team Player)
Brian A. has been taking it for the team ever since he arrived in NYC. Doing sing-offs to rep the 'original soldiers', giving advice, and generally having heart throughout the competition make him super-likeable. We're also feeling Brian A.'s scruffy, K-Ci-like demeanor.

Qwanell

(A.K.A. The Personality)
You can always count on an entertaining "confessional" when Q is in the booth! (Remember his crush on Lori-Ann?) Besides his adorable country-boy charm, Q has the moves and the voice to make him a serious contender.

Brian H.

(A.K.A. The Rebel)
Ok, so rebel might be a little strong, but he did raise a fuss when Diddy directed him to remove that mess of thing he had on top of his head.

DeAngelo

(A.K.A. The Underdog)
DeAngelo has been hanging on since the beginning when many probably thought he would be cut by the 4th episode. When he gets on the mic, he tackles every performance with a laid-back tenacity. He's pushin' ya'll!

Mike

(A.K.A. The Teddy Bear)
Move over Ruben, ya' boy is comin' for the title! Big Mike lost over 40 lbs, proved he can be sexy, and that a little extra weight won't stop him from bustin' a move. And you know the ladies love a big man with confidence (channelling Biggie and Heavy D, the original overweight lovers).

Whoever you're pulling for, make sure to get out and rock the vote! (It's good practice.) Who do we want to see in the band? A Willie, Donnie, Robert, Brian A./Mike combo would make us tune in for season 2. Something tells us Diddy will-not-lose with these options.
